Faithful to his satirical spirit, Offenbach presents an original and especially comic adaptation of Charles Perrault's tale. Bluebeard must marry Boulotte but prefer the charming Princess Hermia; which loves Sapphire. To top it all off, nothing is more decided when the dead Bluebeard's wives come back to life to demand revenge for the prince's crimes. What fate does destiny hold for Bluebeard?
